Was founded in 1969 by Josef Kenyon and gained a reputation for cost effective quality auto-electrical workmanship in the motor trade, in 1979 the company on Frost Hill was formed, bringing on board the expertise of Colin Hayward and increasing the workshop output, in 1984 we then started to import our own brand name car alarm "DETERA" this was distributed around the auto-electrical trade from south Yorkshire to the north east, due to the demand for quality brand car stereo's, we included the Philips range of stereo's to our portfolio, this grew until we became the largest distributors of "Philips Car Systems" from Birmingham to Scotland. This expanded when Philips introduced the "Carin" navigation system and we became the main distributor in the north of England. We have a Network of dealers, mainly in the North of England that we can recommend to install any of the VDO/Philips products to a high standard and that all of the Network dealers have the technical back up from us and VDO/Philips, Now with the take over of the Philips brand car stereo's and navigation by VDO, we have a larger portfolio with new and exciting products to follow, mainly with the expansion of navigation to fleet management, new design car stereo with the VDO logo, and as most European cars are equipped with VDO electronics, the VDO name, although well known in the motor trade for years, will become an household name with the general motorist
